Notes:

Perseverance is a six movement chamber piece for a mixed ensemble consisting of: flute; clarinet; horn; viola; cello; harp; pianoforte; and multiple percussion--two players. The creation of each movement was based on their individual titles; that is, the titles preceded the actual music. Each movement attempts musically to present, define, and interpret these events/emotions as they apply to one's life; they are experienced by all, yet unique to each individual. The work's absolute interpretation is therefore, left to the individual listener.
